Check out this crib. I found it on DesignMom.com and she has it linked from a friend of hers. Anyway- it is GENIUS. The crib that we have is very basic, and I am not a tall person- I am 5 foot 2.5 inches. Yes- I include the half inch, because it matters. Anyway- It’s always difficult to pull that mattress out of the crib to change it. Bending in to get it is one issue- and then the second issue is that most of the time- the crib gets caught on one of the coils from the bottom of the crib. I hate changing the crib sheets. Hate. Hate. Hate. Oh- yeah- I really don’t like it. Anyway- I now want this crib. The odds of my husband making one… umm… slim to none. It won’t happen. But I shall covet it from afar!
When I am not working my booty off or chasing a baby or toddler, I often find myself reading craft blogs and being mesmerized for hours with these crafters’ talents. You see, I am a Wanna-Be-Crafter and I read everything from sewing to card-making. I can’t stop myself. I often collect supplies to start crafting, and then have a stash of fun supplies and just sit staring at them trying to figure out what I should do with them. From paper to ribbons, to fabric, fabric paint – name it- I’ve got it! I am just waiting for some “free time” to tackle a project or two… or three or four. In the meantime, here are some crafts from around the web and some of my favorite blog spots. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Okay- so I just found out about this and I am so excited to try it out. It’s a site that has free online classes for Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, etcetera. I haven’t taken a class yet, so I can’t really recommend it or not, but I will and I’ll let you know the quality as soon as I do. Here’s the link:

So the classes are at 11am Pacific Time, which is 2pm my time since I’m on the east cost of the U.S. - but I will find a way to do it. It’s nap time for the little ones around then, so it should work out. If any of you have taken one of these, let me know how it was.
Is it just me- or do you ever send an email out about your kid(s) – and then sit staring at your computer while hitting “GET MAIL” repeatedly… just waiting for someone to write back telling you how beautiful, adorable, wonderful, smart, perfect, (insert compliment here), that your little angel is?
I do it at least once a week. I’m ashamed, really I am.
